Experience

Greta focuses her practice on commercial litigation and intellectual property. Prior to founding Heppenstall & Schultz, Greta led a litigation team at a national top-tier civil litigation firm representing global technology companies, software developers, insurance carriers, medical device manufactures, and other business owners in both Federal and State court.

Greta has a track record of success in a wide range of cases, including trade secrets, unfair competition, fraud, defamation, and other complex business disputes.  Additionally, Greta has litigated and resolved trademark disputes at the United States Trademark Trial and Appeals Board and in Federal court.  Greta is currently serving as Chair of the Intellectual Property, Internet & New Media section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.

Greta earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of New Orleans before pursuing her J.D. from Whittier Law School where she graduated in 2012. During her studies, she participated in a pro bono program at the School’s Children’s Rights Clinic. Under this program, Greta advocated for children who were victims of abuse and neglect, working on complex special immigrant juvenile status cases. Greta continues this work in her practice, advocating for the Alliance for Children’s Rights, LGBT Center in Los Angeles, and the Innovative Justice Alliance.
