Experience
Greta M. Schultz is a commercial litigator with a practice focused on complex business, intellectual property, and general liability matters. She advises businesses on litigation risk, regulatory exposure, and compliance issues arising in technology-driven and highly regulated environments.
Prior to co-founding Heppenstall & Schultz, Greta led litigation teams at a national top-tier civil litigation firm representing global technology companies, software developers, insurance carriers, medical device manufacturers, and other business entities in state and federal courts. Her experience spans trade secrets, unfair competition, fraud, defamation, trademark disputes, and high-exposure general liability matters, including cases involving significant financial and reputational risk.
Greta previously served for three years as Chair of the Intellectual Property, Internet & New Media Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and holds an IAPP certification in AI Governance. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of New Orleans and her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School, where she participated in the Children’s Rights Clinic. She continues to engage in pro bono and public-interest work supporting children’s rights and underserved communities.
